Job description
The role includes managing sourcing and procurement activities related to clinical research and clinical supply chain management projects. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating global suppliers, conducting market research, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely procurement of required products and services. The role also involves managing purchase requests, purchase orders, supplier documentation, vendor relationships, cost optimisation, and ensuring compliance with internal procurement procedures. The candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to support project requirements, maintain procurement records, monitor order status, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Qualifications:
- Experience in global sourcing, vendor identification, and supplier management.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, quotation comparison, and commercial negotiations.
- Understanding of import and export procedures and international procurement processes.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work with global vendors and internal teams.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project timelines.
