Duration: 12-month contract
Pay: $74.16/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) with required dermatology clinical trial experience to oversee the local execution of clinical studies. The CTM will manage trial timelines, enrollment, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory compliance while partnering with CRAs, investigators, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Candidates must have direct experience supporting clinical trials in dermatology. Experience in other therapeutic areas, including inflammation and immunology, is beneficial but does not replace the dermatology requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical trial operations, including timelines, patient enrollment, budgets, and milestones.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for CRAs, investigators, and clinical trial sites.
- Coordinate with site monitoring teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful trial execution.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, patient safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Review trial documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Identify and resolve study risks, site issues, and operational challenges independently.
- Lead meetings, communicate study updates, and maintain alignment across internal and external teams.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple studies and support trial preparation, conduct, and closeout.
- Travel domestically approximately 10–20% of the time as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience working on dermatology clinical trials is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of clinical research experience; OR
- Master's degree or PharmD and at least 4 years of clinical research experience; OR
- PhD or MD and at least 2 years of clinical research experience.
- Experience managing clinical trial operations, including site oversight, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
- Working knowledge of clinical trial regulations and GCP requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA).
- Experience with inflammatory, immunology, or autoimmune studies in addition to dermatology.
- Familiarity with Veeva clinical systems.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has hands-on dermatology clinical trial experience and a strong background in clinical trial management. They are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable making independent decisions, resolving site-level challenges, and managing relationships with investigators, CRAs, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The expectation is to work independently within the first 2–3 months.
