Clinical Trial Specialist – Remote (UK) – FSP
Advanced Clinical is hiring a Clinical Trial Specialist to join a growing oncology-focused European pharmaceutical company through our Functional Service Provider (FSP) model. This is a fully remote, home-based role open to candidates based in the UK.
The role
As part of the Clinical Operations team, you’ll support the Clinical Trial Manager across Phase I–IV studies, helping deliver trials in line with GCP and SOPs from start-up through to close-out.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting study and site feasibility, start-up, maintenance and close-out activities
- Managing essential documents and overseeing the Trial Master File (TMF)
- Helping prepare and maintain study documents, including ICFs, study manuals and site materials
- Tracking study progress, enrolment, deviations and site performance
- Reviewing monitoring visit reports and supporting site oversight, with the opportunity to carry out co-monitoring or oversight visits
- Supporting CRO and vendor oversight, including deliverables and invoice review
- Organising study meetings, taking minutes and maintaining risk, issue and decision logs
- Contributing to data review, query resolution and safety reviews
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years’ clinical research experience (3+ preferred), ideally within pharma
- Background as a CRA, site monitor, or study coordinator is a strong advantage
- Solid working knowledge of GCP and an understanding of the clinical development phases
- Experience with eTMF and CTMS systems (e.g., Veeva Vault, Smartsheet, SharePoint)
- Strong MS Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- BA/BS, nursing degree, or equivalent, ideally in a science subject
