Job description
We're partnering with a global pharmaceutical organisation undergoing a significant CMC data transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep expertise across CMC, manufacturing operations, data modelling and master data management.
This is a highly strategic role sitting between business stakeholders and technical data teams, helping define how complex CMC data should be structured, modelled and leveraged to support future digital and AI-enabled initiatives.
Locations - France, Belgium and Switzerland
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the business ownership of CMC-related data products
- Translate complex CMC processes and requirements into scalable data models
- Partner with data, digital and AI teams to define future-state solutions
- Support the development of master data frameworks and governance
- Drive alignment with IDMP and related pharmaceutical data standards
- Work closely with manufacturing and external partner ecosystems, including CDMOs and CMOs
- Provide subject matter expertise throughout data modelling and product development activities
Required Experience
- Extensive experience within Pharmaceutical or Biotech environments
- Strong CMC domain expertise across product development and manufacturing
- Experience working with CDMOs/CMOs
- Product Owner, Product Manager, Digital Transformation, Master Data or Data Product experience
- Understanding of IDMP, ontologies, master data and data modelling concepts
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively
- Experience supporting data-driven or AI-enabled initiatives highly advantageous
