  • Coordinate regulatory, ethics, and site approval submissions to ensure timely study start-up.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee essential trial documentation in line with GCP and organisational procedures.
  • Monitor study timelines, recruitment targets, milestones, and budgets, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with study sites, providing ongoing support to drive engagement and performance.
  • Coordinate site initiation, training, monitoring, and close-out activities.
  • Oversee study data quality, ensuring timely data collection, query resolution, and database requirements are met.
  • Monitor protocol compliance and support risk management activities, including trial risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Manage safety reporting processes and submit required documentation to regulatory and ethics bodies.
  • Prepare and present study progress updates for project teams, steering committees, sponsors, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing or coordinating clinical trials within a sponsor, CRO, academic, NHS, or research environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical trial regulations, and research governance requirements.
  • Experience with study start-up, site management, regulatory submissions, and trial oversight.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical research environment.
