Pharmacovigilance Technology Product Lead (Signal & Risk Management) | Sweden | 12 month contract
Discover International is recruiting a Pharmacovigilance Technology Product Lead for a global pharmaceutical client in Sweden. This is a 12 month onsite contract. You will own the roadmap and technology strategy for the signal detection, benefit-risk and risk management platforms that sit at the heart of drug safety.
The role
- Own the product roadmap for Risk and Signal Management platforms supporting global pharmacovigilance operations
- Lead technology strategy across signal detection and validation, benefit-risk assessment and Risk Management Plan lifecycle
- Introduce automation and AI/ML enabled analytics into signal intake, triage and trend analysis
- Lead IT professionals, consultants and vendors, and keep the platforms inspection ready
- Advise senior leadership on drug safety technology strategy
What you bring
- Strong pharmacovigilance and drug safety knowledge, with a focus on signal detection and risk management
- Hands on experience of safety and signal management technologies
- Understanding of ICH E2B/E2C, GVP Modules, FDA and EMA safety reporting, CSV and GxP
- Knowledge of APIs and integration, AWS or Azure, data and analytics architectures, DevOps and Tableau or Spotfire
- Experience leading teams and managing vendors in a regulated environment
- Right to work in Sweden and availability to work onsite
Also valued
AI/ML in pharmacovigilance, MedDRA and WHO-Drug, cloud native SaaS platforms, inspection and audit readiness, and Agile, Product Management or ITSM certification.
