Following digital technology evolution, we can see how fast systems and platforms used in clinical trials are developing. This has an impact on the monitoring strategy and implementation of the remote monitoring. Next to regular onsite SSVs, SIVs, SMVs and COVs, REM became also a standard type of the visit. Course introduction to the Remote Monitoring Visits provides general understanding of the remote monitoring. By attending the course, participants will learn the definition and purpose of the REM, key aspects of the REM, know how to plan, prepare, conduct and follow-up the REM. Participants will understand what kind of documents and SOPs are related with the REM. During the course participants will get familiar with the real-life example. After completion of the course, obtained knowledge can be verified by taking the bank of questions. Participants also have possibility to take practical exercises to find a real-life application of a theoretical concept.
