Site Initiation Visit (SIV) is one of the most important monitoring visits. The main purpose of the visit is to train the site staff team members and make sure the site is ready to conduct a clinical trial. Course introduction to the Site Initiation Visit provides the general understanding of the initiation process. By attending the course, participants will learn the definition of the SIV and purpose of the SIV, key aspects of the SIV, how to plan, prepare, conduct and follow-up the SIV. Participants will understand what kind of documents and SOPs are related with the SIV. Course provides also basic information on the IMP release process. During the course participants will get familiar with the real-life example. After completion of the course, obtained knowledge can be verified by taking the ban of questions. Participants also have possibility to take practical exercises to find a real-life application of a theoretical concept.
